The Magna Carta
The Magna Carta was a document signed by King John of England (1166-(1216). It was signed in Runnemede, England. This document gave certain rights to boblemen and freemen. Under the Magna Carta these men could not have property seized by officals and could not be taxed in most cases. -

The First Continental Congress met at Carpenter's Hall in Philadelphia Pennsylvainia. 56 Delegates for all colonies except Gerogia met to discuss British rule. Patrick Henry, George Washington, John Adams, and John Jay All attended the convention. It was ultimatley decided that an united American front aganst the British. -

Lexington and Concord mark the begging of the Revoulutionary war. The two major generals are General Gage for Britian and Colonel Smith for the United States. Paul Revere rode his iconic "The British are Coming" ride warning all the other minutemen. -
