    Nat Turner Rebellion
    Nat Turner Rebellion was a slave rebellion that took place in Southampton county Virginia in august 1831.the rebellion killed 50 to 66 people and at least 51 of the were white. The rebellion was put down after a few days but turner survived by hiding for two month. This made tension between the north and the south tighten because the slaves where fighting and killing the whites which angered slave owners.
