    The Molasses Act
    It was important because the British government had economic interests. They put a stiff tax on rum, molasses, and sugar sales throughout the colony.
  • Iron Act

    Iron Act
    They tried to stem the development of colonial manufacturing in competition with the home industry. They also restricted the growth of the American iron industry.
  • French & Indian War

    This war is important because the French military fought over land and culture. And the British won this battle.
  • Sugar Act of 1764

    It is important because it increased colonial smuggling and avoided the rules/laws that the British made and the Colonists tried to find ways around taxation.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The reason this event is important is that it helped the British troops pay for stuff an that is why it is important to history.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The importance of the Boston Massacre was when one of the soldiers struck a civilian in the face with the stock of the black-powder musket. The reason that the civilians were protesting was because the British military was collecting taxes from the people of Boston.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    This is important because people attacked three British tea ships anchored at the harbor and the people that attacked the ships dumped 18,000 pounds of the East Indian tea company's tea into the ships into the water.
