    The French and Indian war was a North American conflict that was also called the seven years war because of how long it lasted. it started in 1754 and lasted until 1763, it was between Great Britain and France. People were angry they had to pay expenses for the war and it led to the American Revolution.

  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    An act passed by the British Parliament This required American colonists to pay taxes on every piece of printed paper they used. Many things were taxed at that time such as Licenses, newspapers, and legal documents, even playing cards were being taxed. The direct tax on the colonists led to an uproar and eventually was a big cause for the American Revolution.

    The proclamation of 1763 is the treaty that ended the French and Indian war in 1763. The Proclamation of 1763 founded four new colonies including Quebec, East Florida, West Florida, and Grenada.
