The Proclaimation Line of 1763 was issued by King George III on October 7, 1763. The line ran along the Appalachain Mountains and restricted settlers from passing that line because of the promise that King George III made to the Native Americans that no settling would take place past those mountains. -

Act that was passed by the British Parlament that put a tax on any paper goods. -
The Quartering Act
Passed by the British Parlament, required all American colonists to house and feed any British soldier in the area. -
The Boston Massacre
On the night of March 22, 1770 in Boston, British soldiers fired their guns into a crowd of rioting colonists, killing 5 people. the soldiers were put in court and were almost sentence to death but were saved when John Adams convenced the judge to let them go. -
The Intolorable Acts
Was passed by the British Parlament after the Boston Tea Party and was ment to punish the Massachusetts colonists for overboarding large amounts of tea into the harbor.
