    George Washington leads his troops into a surprise attack on the French. After the success, Washington and his troops move back to Fort Necessity. This led to the American Revolution because when Great Britian went into debt after the war, they expected the Americans to pay it off.

    The Treaty of Paris is the peace treaty that stopped the fighting between the English Colonies and New France. This helped lead to the Revolution because the English Colonies thought they could rebel against England since they didn't lose to New France.

    The Proclamation of 1763 was issued by King George II that forbade all settlements along a line along the Appalachian Mountains. THis helped lead to the American Revolution because settlers didn't like that they couldn't travel west.

    The Stamp Act said that all American Colonists had to pay taxes on every piece of printed paper they used. This helped cause the American Revolution because the Americans didn't like that the British didn't have to pay taxes like they did.

    The Townshend Acts were put in place over the thirteen colonies to show them that England had control and authority over them. This helped lead to the American Revolution because the colonists didn't like that they had to pay taxes but England didn't.

    THe Boston Tea Party was when a group of Massachussets colonists disguised as Mohawk Indians went onto three British ships and dumped chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. This helped cause the American Revolution because it angered the British and showed them that the colonists did not like them.

    The Intolerable Acts were passed to punish Colonists for the Boston Tea Party. This helped lead to the American Revolution because the American Colonists didn't like that they had to pay for the tea that they had dumped into the Boston Harbor.
