They were trying to make the Indians know that they werent goona invade their territory while they were moving westward. The colonist felt like there privacy was being taken away. -

The act lowered the tax on molasses but raised the on sugar. They did to stop illegal smuggling. This affected the colonist beacuse this setup the colonists to fight the Stamp act. -
Currency Act
The act did not let the Colonist use their currency but only Brittish currency. The made Ben Frankiln mad so he tried to repeal it and ending up repealing a whole bunch of other octs. -
Stamp Act
The Brittish government decided to tax every prined good in the colonies. It had to have o stamo on it to make it legal. This act pushed the colonists to the limit. -
Quatering Act
The act said that if Brittish soldiers waned your house you had to give it to them. This made he colonists very upset and it started riots across the colonies. -
Stamp act Congress
It was a petition to get rid of the stamp act. It gave the colonists hope to get rid of all the stupid taxes. -
Declatory Act
This was passed by parliment to make the up for the repeal of the stamp act . This act gave the British full power over colonies and let them do what ever they wanted to. This act really enraged the colonists. -
Townshend Act
Let the Brittish tax the colonist on certain goods like agriculteres. This was the last straw for the colonists.
