    After the minutemen readied their guns, you could hear gunshots in the distance. A total of 8 minutemen had died during this attack. Many call this event "The shot heard around the world." This marked the start of the American Revolution.

    Some of the people that were at the meet were, John and Samuel Adams (John became the 2nd president), Patrick Henry Richard Henry Lee, and George Washington (George became the 1st president). They decided to set up a post office, in which they would print money. George Washington led the Continental Congress Army. John Hancock was voted to become the president of the Second Continental Congress. They went to ask the King to protect their rights, to which he said no and hired 30,000 troops.

    Originally fought of Breed's Hill, although the name of the battle is Bunker Hill. A military captain named William Prescott yelled "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes." The British won when the Americans eventually ran out of ammunition.
