Pontiac's Rebellion
Pontiac unites various different Native American groups and leads a rebellion against the British, due to the fact that they did not support British rule. -
Sugar Act
Tax upon sugar products is created. Colonists are furious and threaten tax colectors. -
Stamp Act
Legal documents started being stamped. Mostly printed material. Tax payers were threatened and never colected that tax. -
Quartering Act
The Quartering Act let soldiers sleep, drink, and eat at a colonists house at a time of war. -
Declaratory Act
Reduced tax on sugar. -

Townshend Acts
Townshend acts were a measure to pay off British debt: taxed glass, lead, paints, paper and tea. Most of the acts to tax certain objects were revoked except for the tax on tea. Colonists started boycotts due to these acts. Due to the boycotts and "rebellious" acts of the colonists there was a backlash, more soldiers were sent to the colonies. (Increase in tension) -
Boston Massacre
Colonists started harassing British soldiers by throwing rocks in snowballs among other things. Due to the colonists harassing the redcoats, there was a backlash and British soldiers fired against the hostile colonists.
