    The French and Indian war was a conflict that took place in north America that lasted till 1754-1763 and ended with a treaty. Brittan was also fighting in the war and it seems like so, leading to Brittan owning some territory in north America but because of the war expenses it led to conflict making the American revolution happen.

    After the war with the French, Indians and British the American revolution started. Brittan viewed western America as a threat that would soon lead to conflict. The Americans were sick of Brittan because of how possessive the Brittan were. A rebellion started soon enough.

    The sugar act started because the British wanted to end people smuggling sugar so they could get more money but the American people did not like this so they protested, they also made placed a three penny duty upon foreign molasses in the act but finally the protest won and the tax was reduced to one.

    Since the British had a financial loss because of the seven year long war with the French they created the stamp act to hope to retrieve all the money they lost. Part of the revenue would be used to maintain peace with the Native Americans and the colonist.
