Quartering Act
Cause: The Native Americans were attacking British colonists along the Ohio River Valley. Pontiac's Rebellion was led by a group of Native Americans who attacked British forts in an effort to get them to leave the area.
Event: The British issued the Quartering Act which forced colonists to house and feed British soldiers. The British soldiers were to protect the colonists from Native Americans.
Aftermath: Tensions were high with the soldiers and colonists which explains the Boston Massacre.
