  • The Molasses Act

    The Molasses Act
    This is one of the first-ever events to lead up to the revolution. Great Britain was borrowing so much money to the point where it nearly doubled its debt giving some time he chose a financial expert to assist him in lowering his debt.
  • Parliament

    Parliament
    Parliament was secretly passed, which makes the colonies pay taxes for trade, newspapers, and playing cards. This was a minor annoyance for the colonies but over time this leads to problems and is one of the key factors of why the Revolution starts.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    In 1770 a mob gathered in front of the Bostom Customs building. This mob starting taunting the guards and given several minutes several guards fired upon the crowd and killing or mortally injuring 5 people. This led to pressure on the sides but given 3 to 4 years both sides calmed down.
  • The Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party
    In 1773 the north cut the tea act and almost bankrupt the British. This freed the colonies to trade free of taxes. Following this event on a dimly lit evening, a handful of Boston rebels boarded a ship full of tea and dumped over 18,000 pounds of tea. This put pressure between the colonies and Indians leading to more overall pressure.
  • The Intolerable acts

    The Intolerable acts
    King Gorge the III was infuriated and pushed parliament and added several laws. The first one was to shut down Boston Harbor, and the second one was the quartering act where British commanders were given the abilities to choose vacant properties, Houses and, Buildings. This was one of the biggest events of the road of the revolution because it not only made the citizens mad it was aggregating the colonies.
  • The Battle of Bunker Hill

    The Battle of Bunker Hill
    The final more important event was the battle of bunker hill. The British decided now is the time to strike on breeds hill, but the colonists decided to hold their fire until there were forced to and began firing on the British. By the time the gunfire had stopped the British lost a HUGE part of their forces, this was named the deadliest battle of the war and was about the time the revolution was full force.
  • The Battle of Concord

    The Battle of Concord
    This is the first event of the Revolution. At night the British snook over to concord and getting in position to fire when one of the British misfired and after that, the battle lasted about 15 minutes. This was the first major battle when the revolution started, After this engagement, they found concord abanded and marched back to Boston. On the walk back they saw between 3,000 and 4,000 minutemen behind trees and stones. The British soldiers fell by the dozens and were humiliated.
