With new land Britian aquired theyd id not want to increase Tension with the Native Americans so the document stated that no colonists were to settle outside the Appalachian Montians. Colonist were angered and genrally ignored this law.

Sugar Act is Passed

This Act reduced The tax of molasses but also increased the tax of sugar, coffee, and indigo. Colonists boycotted these goods causing Britian to loose money. This also caused the colonists to form the sons of liberty which was a group that opposed Britian.

Stamp Act

This act put a tax on all legal documents. This act was protested and eventually repealed.

Quartering Act

Mar 25, 1765

This act made colonists house British Solders.This displeased the colonists, who assanated and killed some soliders.

The Townshed Act Is Passed

Jun 29, 1767

This Act taxed sevral items including glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea. Not only that, but it also only allowed trade on colonial and British ships. It also allowed the British soliders to have search warents to find smuggled goods. Colonists became outraged by this act.

The Boston Massacure

Event due to the displeased colonists over acts were british soliders shot colonists. This sparkeed revolution, the Sons of Liberty used this to try to get others to turn on Britian. To please the colonists the British TRied to please the colonists by repealing the townshed acts, everything exept tea.

The Tea Act

This act was intended to not anger the colonists, but to get the East India company out of thier contractual payments, but the colonists didn't take this well. They were jealous that they couldn't get out of thier tax so the Boston Tea Party happened.

The Boston Tea Party

Event were The Sons of Liberty boarded a British ship and dumped all of it's cargo of tea to show there displeasment with the Tea Act.

Intoleratble Acts

These were acts to get back at the colonists for dumping all the tea. They closed the port of Boston ports until the Tea was paid off. Banned town meetings, had an appointed councel, gave in creased power to the royal govener (British leaders of each colony). This caused the colonists to form the first continental congress

First continental congress meets

September 5th marked the first day of the first continental congress.People from all colonies met in Boston to discuss the new taxes and laws inposed on them and how they were going to rebel.

The Fight at Lexington and concord

This started with the british marching to lexington and concord to search for smuggled goods. Paul Revere road on a horse and warned the colonists. After that the colonists were ready to fight, and thus the first battle of the revolutionary war began

I think the colonists wanted to break apart for Britian Because they think the laws were unfair.The Boston Massacure, they felt that the deaths of thier friends are unjust. After the massacure the tea act seemed really unfair and unjust, because they weren't getting tax cut, but the East Indian company got them. This seemed unfair so they rebelled. Then after rebelling they were treated even more unfairly with the intolertable acts. All of this caused the colonists to rebel.
