    The royal proclamation was a Document signed by King George the 3rd that claimed the North american territory for the colonists.
    This united the colonists due to the fact that the proclamation restricted the colonists in a way that they did not agree.

    The stamp act is when the British Imposed a law that all paper in the Colonies had to have a stamp of verification on it.
    This caused the Boston gazette the biggest news company in Boston to overload on Newspaper hating on the British
  • The Townshend Acts

    The Townshend Acts
    The Townshend acts were a series of laws passed down from the British government for the North american colonists to follow.
    The laws pushed the american colonists united together towards revolution against the British due to their distaste for the laws they passed.
  • The Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre
    The Boston massacre is when a mob of British citizens gathered in front of the Boston Customs House and started taunting the soldiers which caused the soldiers to open fire killing 5 people.
    This furthered the people of the colonies from the British when a man named Paul Revere to create a painting that was not very accurate which caused outrage across Britain and in the colonies.

    The Te act an act that granted the company the right to directly ship tea to the colonies without stopping at England first but only tea. The colonists didn't like this due to the fact that they only got one type of tea and didn't get the freedom to choose what tea.

    The intolerable acts were laws that punished Massachusetts that were in the tea party protest for the change of taxation of colonists. It further separated the colonists from the British due to the disagreement between them over the heavy taxation.

    The Boston patriots were colonists of Boston that felt that they were looking for independence and in turn wanted to separate themselves from the British. This pushed towards revolution due to the fact that they were colonist that were no longer wanting to be apart of Britain.
