It repealed the stamp act but it made all taxing authority in America the same as Britain's. -
Townshend act
It added taxes to glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea. The colonies saw this as an abuse of power. -
Boston Massacre
British soldiers shot and killed seven people while being attacked by a mob. It was important because it sparked a campaign by speech-writers to rouse ire of the citizenry. -

It was to add taxes to tea so it could bail the East India company but it lead to the Boston tea party one of the largest wastes of tea possible. -
