official stamp/seal on all paper products(to show proof tax was paid).Of course this act outraged the colonist.They argued that only their own assemblies could tax them -
Declaratory Act
Parliament declares it has power to make laws for the colonies"in all cases whatsoever"
parliament passes this to save face -
Townshend Act
The Townshend act taxes paper,glass,paint,lead,tea
searched for smuggled goods
The sons of liberty started to do violent acts which caused British solders to come to protect tax collectors -

Tea Act
The Tea Act is not a tax
this allowed (BEIC)/British east India company
Lower prices than colonist
cheaper than smuggling tea
less smuggling means more tax money
this caused colonist to fear being put out of business by BEIC -
Boston Tea Party
Loyalists are people that support or work for the king or Great Britain.
The tea party caused problems for loyalist
The tea party started when members of Sons of Liberty Dump over 340 chests of tea into Boston Harbor -
Intolerable Act
This was passed to punish Boston for tea party

-Massachusetts Charter cancelled

This act made colonists have to house soldiers
if a soldier comes knocking on your door your gonna be sleeping on the floor because of the new act
