Britain put taxes on sugar , molasses , and other products shipped to the colonies. Also called for strict enforcement on the act in harsh punishment for smugglers . -
The Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was a law that required all legal and commercial documents to carry an official stamp showing that taxes have been payed . All diplomas ,contracts had to carry a stamp . Even published materials such as newspapers had to be written on special stamped paper. -
The Quartering Act
Britian was angering the colonist even more by making them quarter,a british solider.Bymaking them provide both a place to stay and food. -

The Reason For Protest
Protests immediately broke out at news of the Townshed Acts .People throughout the colonies were upset that Britain was placing new taxes on them. -
The Boston Massacre
A group of Patriots were throwing snowballs, sticks, clubs, and stones at the british soliders. the british felt threatened. because of the feeling of being threatened the result of the throwing caused several people to lose their life. -
The Tea Act
This is the last spark that helped the revolutuion begin. Britian started cutting back on the tea. It was to be sold in the colonies for a higher rate. This infuriated the colonies -
The Boston Tea Party
the people of the colonist were so furious about what the brtish were doing with there tea, not giving the colonist a fair share in the money. so 34 colonist dressed up as native americaans and or british people and hi jacked the boat. here dumpping all the tea that was suppose to be shipped to britianall over the boston harbor -
The Boston Port Act
Here is when they shut down the boston harbor because of what the colonist did with the british tea, hence forth closing boston and the colonies from trading and getting goods from anywhere in the world. -
The Declaration Of Independence
Congress of the colonist picked 13 people from each colony to reprsent each colony and their say in the documentary. some of those people were Thomas jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin. finaly July 4, 1776 the colonist were free from England.
