    This war was a war that was over the land area of Ohio. It was a big show of how England was the most powerful nation in Europe at the time. It was very important in the spectrum of things because it was a starting place to the disconnect from the colonies.
  • The Quartering Act 1765

    The Quartering Act 1765
    The quartering act is multiple acts from the British Government telling the people of the colonies that they must provide soldiers with housing and food if they ask you. This is significant because not only where they paying taxes for the military to grow they where also having to provide them with food and housing.
  • Stamp Act 1765

    The stamp act was the taxation of the colonies goods. Tax stamps where put on everything from legal documents to news papers. This was a main cause to the American Revolution. Taxation without representation.
  • Boston Massacre 1770

    Boston Massacre 1770
    A mob was protesting at the capital in Massachusetts Bay. There was people mocking the soldiers and harassing them. Eventually this all escalated to the point that five colonist where murdered. This would turn out to be one of the most important events in the revaluation as this was a showing of what the British was planning to do if we tried anything slick.

    The Boston tea party is considered a showing of the American revolution. It was a response to many of the taxation. The main one of course being Tea. What happens was a group planned to go and dump as much tea being imported into the sea. They pored tons of tea into the sea in defiance from the taxes.
  • Lexington And Concord 1775

    This was the first battle of the Revolutionary War. It was a short battle that only lasted for 15 minutes. British troops where headed for Lexington when they meant with minuteman. They killed 8 of them and wounding another ten. Only one British soldier was wounded and that was the only injury.

    The colonies are tired of British control. The finally make a plan for independence. Its 1776 and they are working the declaration of independence. They Finally finish the plan and it speaks of "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness".
