  • George III becomes King of England

  • Stamp Act is published

    Taxed goods imported to the States. Colonists believed these to be acts of abuse of power.

  • The Boston Massacre

    Protesters, who were protesting the occupation of British Soldiers in their town, began a scrum with a British Soldier that quickly turned into a bloody slaughter as 5 out of the crowd were killed and more were injured.

  • Boston Tea Party

    A group of colonists, known as the Sons Of Liberty, dressed as Native Americans and tossed tons of gallons of Tea into the Boston Harbor in response to a tax on tea.
