In 1919 Hitler joined the German Workers Party, a year later they changed the name to NSDAP and in 1921 Hitler became the leader of the group and adopted the ideas of anti-semitism along with with the swastika emblem. -
Beer Hall "Putsch"
Hitler decided to get his private army to surround a beer hall in Munich and gun down the people in the meeting while his soldiers shouted "heil Hitler". He then declared himself as the new ruler of Germany. -

A book Hitler wrote while he was in jail for fuve years for committing the beer hall crime. This book is basically his biography and describes why he is the way he is and where his opinions came from. -
Collectivization of Agriculture
Communist officials collected crops from farmers and peasants, and took everything they could get. The farmers then started burning crops and growing less, because they rather did that than send their crops (for free) to communist officials. This cause shortage in food and this meant famine! -
Creation of the 5 year plan
This idea was introduced by Stalin; The 5 year plan concentrated on the development of iron and steel, machine-tools, electric power and transport. Joseph Stalin set the workers high targets. He demanded an increase in coal production, iron production and in electric power. He justified these demands by claiming that if rapid industrialization did not take place, the Soviet Union would not be able to defend itself against an invasion from capitalist countries in the west. -
Invasion on Manchuria
Japanese Kwangtung army attacked the Chinese troops in Manchuria; Japan was taking over the province to show their superiority. This is one of the causes for WWII -
Hitler as Chancellor
With this power Hitler was able to use the Reichstag fire, he blamed the communist, as an excuse to bully and harass the riechstag in to passing the Enabling Act on March 23, 1933. This act allowed Hitler to any anything that he wants to protect Germany. -
