During this time, Rome was ruled by the estruscans. Román society was divided into two classes: plebeians and patricians. -

Patricians rebel
Patricians rebeles against the last Etruscan king and overthrew him. Then they created a republic. -
494 BCE
Plebeians protest
Due to the lack of justice the plebeians has, they left Rome until patricians agreed to be more just and treat them better. -
451 BCE
Patricians agree
Participants agree with the conditions plebeians put in order to return to Rome. They write the ruler in tablets known as the twelve tablets. -
287 BCE
Plebeians gained rights
The plebians gained the right to pass laws and vote. They could aprove or reject laws. Plebeians assemblies were known as the tribunes of the plebes.
