While Etruscans was in rule the Roman soceity was split into two classes. One was the patricians, which were wealthy aristocrats or wealthy landowners. The other group was the plebeians, which were the common people such as farmers, laborers, peasants, and shopkeepers. 95% percent of Rome was made up of plebeians. -
