Its called the Battle of Milvian Bridge,because it took place on an important bridge over the Tiber. Constantine won the battle and became the ruler of the Roman Empire. Maxentius drowned in the Tiber during the battle. They later took his body and cut his head off, and his head was paraded through the streets of Rome on the day following the battle. -
