    In 312 CE there was a battle between Constantine and Maxentius on the Milvian Bridge, but during the battle he had of vision of cross in the sky giving him hope so that he could win. And in the end Constantine prevailed and led to him being the ruler of the Roman empire, when this happen he started to be involved with Christianity.

    Also Maxentius drowned in the Tiber river right under the bridge during the battle. This battle marked the beginning of Constantine's move to Christianity forever.
