    Throughout the entire of the New testament of the Bible Rome was in control of Israel. When they took control of Rome, instead of converting them to being polytheistic from monotheistic, they allowed them to keep their religion if they obeyed Roman rule. They did this so they could have the strategic position that Israel provides. The Roman's "kindness" kept Israel from fighting back.

    The Great Fire of Rome took place in 64 AD when in the Circus Maximus was caught on fire. This fire from the Circus Maximus raged for nine days before the fire had died and the smoke had cleared. As it turned out the Great Fire had destroyed two thirds of Rome. Nero was blamed for this fire, so that he could bypass the Roman Senate and then build Rome in his vision. But Nero blamed it on the Christians, and he had Christians crucified.

She was arrested by Emperor Septimius Severus who was trying to reconvert North Africa , who was trying to undermine Christianity. Even under a death threat she stayed Christian. She was killed as a gladiator fighting leopards and other beasts. She become a saint, due to her devote Christianity.

    The Great Persecution was the most severe persecution of the Christians. It limited their legal rights and demanded that they use the normal religion. Emperor Diocletian killed several thousand Christians. Diocletian had consulted the Oracle and it told him to start Persecution of Christians. Also due to multiple factors from pressures in Rome he used Christians as a scape goat.

    Under the rule of Emperor Constantine the Great, Christianity went from persecuted religion to the dominate religion in Rome. This was because before the battle of Milvian Bridge he had a vision and saw a cross in the sky. Then he also had a dream to put XP on the front of their shields because it was the first two letters of Christs name. They went on to win that battle against the odds, he started believing in the Christian God and made an Edict of Milan to make Christianity legal.

    The Edict of Milan was a formal letter between Emperors Constantine and Licinius that allowed tolerance of the religion of Christianity. He made this Edict of Milan in order to please the one God almighty so his wrath would not come down upon him. This stoped the persecutions of Christianity. This came after the Battle of Milvian Bridge after when Constantine came in control of Rome.

    The Battle of Milvian Bridge was between two forces in Rome, Constantine and Maxentius. These two forces met at the Milvian Bridge, and Constant and his troops came out victorious. This victory was to control Rome. This victory also paved the pathway for Christianity to become the dominant religion in Rome, due to Constantine's new beliefs from the old religion to Christianity.

    Emperor Theodosius was baptized Christian and then called a council to end the Arian history. He had proclaimed himself as the Niece Creed, and then had it revised and edited later in life. He also killed thousands of people in an arena for rioting and had to do a penance. He was the first ruler to go under the rule under Christianity.
