Jesus taught about the kingdom of God by healing the sick, providing for people’s needs and forgiving sins. In AD 30, the Roman’s, in conclusion with Jewish leaders, they put Jesus to death.the disciples were transformed by an experience of the Holy Spirit. They began to preach the gospel of Jesus to the ends of the earth. -

A man named Saint Paul heard that there was a prophet named Jesus who claimed to be the messiah.He began to prosecute followers of jesses .He demanded that they should give up their new faith.No matter what did more and more people began to follow Christ .A disciple visited Paul and Paul became baptized and was filled with the Holy Spirit.He became a christian to teach people about Jesus. -

Almost two thirds of Rome was destroyed due to a fire that started in Rome in a market.Nero the emperor used the fires destruction as an opportunity to rebuild Rome in a more greek style.These actions were called the Great Domus Aureus.Nero then blamed it on the Christians which started the persecution of the christians. -

Great Persecution of 303 CE
The Roman Empire was not in a very secure position.Roman Emperor Diocletian,comanded the publication of his first "Edict against the Christians." This edict ordered the destruction of Christian scriptures and places of worship across the Empire, and the edict did not allow Christians coming toghether for worship.
This was the beginning of The great Persecution which went from 303 to 311and was the Roman empire's "last, largest, and bloodiest official persecution of Christianity.". -

It was a battle between Constantine and Maximinus and they were fighting over the control over the Western Roman Empire.The outcome of the battle resulted in a win for Constantine.His victory was dedicated to the god of the Christians. He ordered any religious persecution in his territory.In 313, Constantine and Licinius came together and went against Maximinus. There alliance soon came to the Edict of Milan. -

Constantine was born on February 27, 272 AD in Naissus, Serbia.He died on May 22, 337 AD in Nicomedia, Turkey. He became known as the first roman emperor to turn to christianity as well as establishing the city of Constantinople.Growing up Constantine was able to read and write both latin and greek.In his time of ruling he helped stop the persecution of the Christians in his territory. -

He was a roman emperor and was the son of the senior military officer,Theodosius the Elder. Theodosius was the last ruler of a roman empire.He was also known for making the states official religion ,Christianity.In 380 he said himself to be a christian.
