    Around 1200 Ghana's empire had collapsed. Three major factors contributed to its ending. Those three factors were invasion, overgrazing, and internal rebellion.

    Around 1200, the people of a country that Ghana conquered rose up in rebellion. After a couple of years the rebellions won the battle and tok over Ghana.
