  • American Revolution

    American Revolution
    In 1775 The colonists of America started a revolution against British tax. They were violating their Liberty, as they were taxing them for the seven years war. They were fighting for their freedom against Britain. This took place in the American colonies, where the Americans started a revolution against the British. After 8 years, their efforts were successful, and they gained freedom.
  • French Revolution

    French Revolution
    In 1789, the French started a revolution against their own government because the king had put all the taxes from the 7 years war on the lowest class of people, and it had violated their life, liberty and property. The people of the lower class revolted, and eventually replaced the monarch with people from the lowest class. It was successful in short term, as documented its shown that the effects didn't last very long. It took place in France and its colonies but mostly Paris.
  • Venezuelan Revolution

    Venezuelan Revolution
    In 1810, the Venezuelan people fought started a revolt against the Spanish people for violating their rights of liberty and property. They were not abolishing slavery, and heavily taxed foods. In the end, Venezuela won its independence from Spain but the slaves did not. This took place in modern day Venezuela/ old world New Granada.
  • Mexican Revolution

    Mexican Revolution
    The Mexican revolution took place in 1810 and started when the Mexican people revolted against the Spanish in hopes of freedom from them. The Spanish had violated their liberty, and had forced religion, nationalism and taxation on them. It ended with Mexico regaining their freedom and splitting from Spain under a treaty.
  • Boxer Rebellion

    Boxer Rebellion
    The boxer rebellion was the anti-imperialist, anti-foreign, and anti-Christian up rise in Mainland China. The traditional Chinese people though the people coming in and spreading there ways were violating their culture since, so they rebelled against foreigners and Chinese Christians. The consequence for this rebellion was that the power the dynasty had weakened and the foreign influence continued.
  • Meji Meji Rebellion

    Meji Meji Rebellion
    The Meiji Meji rebellion started when Islamic and Animist Africans rebelled against the German rule in German East Africa. This rebellion started when the Germans forced the indigenous people to grow cotton and killed over 250,000 people. The Africans liberty, property and freedom were all violated in this German rule. In the end, the Germans came out winning, so the rebellion failed and the Germans still made them grow cotton.
