    The war started in the year 1754 and ended in 1763. The British came out as the victor but not without a significant loss of soldiers. This defeat was not in vain as the colonist saw that they lasted far longer than expected.

    This started around the same time as the stamp act of 1765. This act allowed the British to force people to let soldiers into their homes and house them as if they were family members. This is only one of the other things that they required for example they had to feed and care for them a random stranger.

    This is an act that allowed the British to charge taxes for the troops that were stationed there. This act said that all important papers that wanted to be either mailed or delivered theed get charged for it. The people of course were not happy with the act and wanted that to change.

    This started on November 20, 1767, this act allowed for the British to charge taxes on imported goods. These imported goods included glass, lead, paint, paper, and tea. The worst part was that there was a lot of thing being imported such as tea there was a lot meaning lots of money.

    This was the event that caused it all to start the war. the year is March 5, 1770, the protesters are throwing snowballs at the British, and at some point, someone yelled "fire". Once the smoke cleared 5 men lay with no sign of life. this made colonists furious.

    this all starts on April 19, 1775, where the British are making their way to Concord in order to take arms away. The colonist wasn't happy with it and so they fought back. The battle ended with the British losing 73 killed, 173 wounded and 26 of them went missing.

    the battle started on June 17, 1775, with the colonist moving quickly and swiftly to take the hill before the British. The commander of these troops was William Prescott commanding over 1000 troops. After all this, they ran out of ammunition and had to retreat.

    this all started on the day of Christmas day in 1776. These two great battles were fought by Washington in one he defeated the great garrison of hessian mercenaries. Then in the other one, he lured the British into a trap in order to capture Princeton.

    this is an important document that was signed saying that it recognized that they are an independent nation. This is what they wanted but the nation who fought also got recognition for fighting and winning. Why the name treaty of Paris is because where it was negotiated and signed the legal document gained its freedom.
