  • British surrender at Yorktown

    British surrender at Yorktown

    American and French troops siege Yorktown, Virginia and claim an overwhelming victory over the British. General Cornwallis surrenders there, leading to the British government to end the war.

    Treaty signed in Paris by representatives of Britain and the United States of America. This treaty officially ended the American Revolutionary War.
