    French Indian war
    The war was between the British and the French, however the French had help from the Indians. The cost of the war left Britain in great debt. This led to all sorts of acts in an atempt to get their money back. The acts imposed on the colonists made them angry and eventualy led to the American Revoultion.

    The actual start of the American Revolutionary war was the 'shot heard around the world' however the precursers that strated the war were the econmic debt from the seven years war, the out rageous acts put in place to counrter the debt and anrgy colonsists, therefore the revolutionary war started with the French and Indian War.

    The albany congress had two main purposes; get the iroquois to side with them to fight the French, and to form a colonial alliance based on a design that was created by Benjamin Franklin.

    Proclamation of 1763
    This document was issued by King George the third after they acquired land from the French. It stated that there will be no settling past a certain line drawn on the Appalachian Mountains.

    The sugar act of 1764 was a six percent tax on British molases and the banding of any French molases in the colonies.

    The Currency Act is the name of several acts of the parlement of great Britian that regulated paper money issued by the colonies of British America. the acts sought to protect british merchants and ceditors from being paid in deprecaited colonial currency.

    At the end of the Seven Years War, Britian was in debt and needed a source of capital. Since the taxes in England were already ver4y high they imposed taxes on the colonists reasoning that the colonist should pay for the soldiers stationed there. The colonists were discontent with this act and argued that they couldn't be taxed because they lacked representation in Parliament.

    The quartering act was a law passed that said colonial people had to give british troops food, water, quarters, fuel, and trasportation when stationed in their colony.

    Due to boycotts and riots Parliament agreed to repeal the Stamp Act and lessen the effects of the Sugar Act. However, the Parliament also passed this act which stated that the colonies and plantations in the New World, are subordinate and dependent on the English Crown and parliament.

    The Townshend acts were a series of acts passed, beginning in 1767, by the parlement of Great Britian realating to the British Colonies in North America. The acts are named after Charles Townshend.

    Were a series of boycotting British imports in the colonies. They did it to protest agaisnt outrageous taxes.

    A small fight between a colonial mob and some British solders ended with colonial casualties gunned down by the British. Used as propoganda to potray the British as Tyrants.

    In response to the Tea Act of 1773 which introduced a monopoly on tea sales in the colonies, a coalition of merchants, smugglers, and artisans to disguise themselves as Native americans and dump the tea from Britain into the Boston harbor

    The battle of Lexington and Concord Minuteme and Britich solders met, had a stand off of sorts. Boths sides blamed the other for shooting the first shot so present day people still dont know who fired first.
