This stated that the 13 American clonies were seperate from England and were now seperate states which was name the United States of America -
Surrender at Yorktown
American troops lead by George Wahington and French troops defeated the British in Yorktown, Virginia. It was the last major battle of the revolutionary war. -
Treaty of Paris
This was signed by representatives from King George III and the U.S.A. in Paris, thus ending the revolutionary war.
