The turning point of the Revolutionary War. British John Burgoune wanted to cut off the Northeast Colonies, invade from Canada, and recapture Ft. Ticonderoga. France and Spain decided to join the United States and the French supplied the States with men and ships. -

Where George Washington trained and kept his men over the winter. -
Battle of Yorktown
The last main battle in the Revolutionary war, where General Cornwallis surrendered. -
Treaty of Paris
When the British, French, and American generals signed this, it officially ended the Revolutionary War and officially declared America's freedom from Great Britain.
