A political protest where a whole shipment of tea was destroyed in the Boston Harbor -

Laws passed by the British Parliament to punish the colonists after the Boston Tea Party. Took away many rights and helped trigger the American Revolution. -

Meeting of delegates from 12 out of the 13 colonies. The Meeting took place in Carpenter's Hall in Philadelphia and they discussed what to do about the Intolerable Acts. -

The British Parliament rejects a petition (The Olive Branch Petition) which was the colonies' last attemt to avoid a war. -

The first battle of the American Revolution. -

An early battle in the American Revolution. A loss for the colonists but gave a big boost in their confidence. -

A pamphlet written by Thomas Pain that encouraged the colonists to fight Great Britain for their independance. -
