    France and Great Britin and were fighting in north America for control of the Ohio valley river. war lated 9 years and was incredibly expensive. Great Britain taxed the colinis to pay off the debt and this made the colinis mad.

    On March 22nd they made an act called the "Stamp Act" this act was to help pay for British troops. This act made colinis pay a tax for such things like News paper, dice, playing cards.

    The Boston Massacre was one of the most brutal riots in history. it took place March 5th 1770 on King St in Boston. it started out as a street brawl between American colinis and British Army. There is many people who disagree on it and we truly will never know the real story but who they say is to blame is Hugh Montgomery and Matthew Kilroy. They were the ones who were found guilty.

Though the battle took place mainly on Breeds Hill it marked a significant moment in the fight for independence.

    The Treaty of Paris signed on September 3 1783 it ended the American Revolutionary War and recognized the United States independence from Britain Negotiated by American diplomats Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, and John Adams, the treaty established generous boundaries for the new nation stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mississippi River and from Canada to Florida. In addition to recognizing American sovereignty the treaty addressedissues such as fishing rights and restoration of property.
