Proclamation of 1763

This was an act that forced every legal document to have a stamp on it. -
Bosron Massacre
60 colonists gathered together and were taunted the soldiers who were on duty. The colonists started it by throwing a club and knocking down a soldier. 5 people died and 6 others were injured. England repealed taxes except for tea. -
Townshend Taxes
The Townshend Taxes put taxes on foreign paper, lead, and wine. -

A group of people dressed up like Mohawk Indians and threw 15,000 pounds of tea into the ocean. -

Two battles that were considered the turning point in the war, it made the French help the colonists out. -
Battle of Yorktown
The French helped the Americans win and it led to the end of the war. -
Treaty of Paris
This officially ended the war and America was a country.
