National assembly is created
The third estate creates the National Assembly consisting of only property- owning males.
The significance of this to the revelution is that the third estate was trying to replace the old goverment. The were trying to create their own government, instead of having the monarchy. -
Dismissed
Louis XVI consults Jaques Necker and dismisses him after Necker proposes taxing the first and second estates. This is significant because it enraged people because it showed that Louis XVI did not want equality for them. They were in such deficit and Jaques Necker was suposed to help fix things but Louis did not want the equality. -
1st leader
Napoleon Bonaparte overthrows the directory and replaces it with a new government, where he is the first consul or leader. The signaficance of this is because he overthrows the monarchy and starts his own goverment. He brings stability and the people want this. He was also the first leader.
