    French and Indian War
    The French and Indian War was a war between the British and the French that took place in North America to take over the land. This was a very important war. This war determined who would be in charge of the colonists in later years. If the French would have won it would have changed our country completely. This war ended in 1763

    The Revolution time period was a very important time in U.S. history. Without the fight and courage of the Patriots we would probably still be under British power today. We would not be a free country. This is on of the most important times in our history and should be rememered for a long time.
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    The Sugar Act was passed in order to raise taxes on items with sugar in them. The British decided to pass this Act for the Colonists in order to make more money and keep the Colonists in order. The British had total control at this time and anything the King wanted happened. This Act was important because it made the Colonists start to realise how unfair they were being treated.

    The Stamp Act was a very important mark in U.S. history. The British passed the Stamp Act which stated that anything purchased that was writtien on paper ot stamped would have a tax. Newspapers and many other items were then taxted. The Stamp Act was not around long because Colonists stopped purchasing stamped items.

    The Boston Massacre changed the way a lot of Colonists felt about the British. The Boston Massacre was the event where British soldiers killed 5 American civilians. This made a lot of people very upset and started a lot of arguments with the king and Britian. When you think of the Revolution the Boston Massacre should be one of the first things that come to mind.

    The Boston Tea Party was a big date when the Colonists stood up for themselves in front of the British. The Colonists went to one of the British's ships that carried tea and goods on the Boston Harbor and dumped all of the tea out into the water. This started and epademic. The king was furious, the colonists wasted over a million dollars in tea. This is the first time that the U.S. stood up to the King.
  • Lexington and Concord

    Lexington and Concord
    The Battle of Lexington and Concord was a battle thatmarked a good victory for the Colonists. They surprised the British as they went to go and steel there guns and weapons when they attacked the British. The King was furious after this event and struck back soon after. The Colonists killed many British soldiers and only lost a small portion of there soldiers that were fighting.
  • Decleration of Independence

    Decleration of Independence
    The Decleration of independence is very important to the history of the United States. Thomas Jefferson was the chosen author to write the Decleration. The Decleration of Independance expressed the feelings of the 13 States. The Decleration was passed on July 4th, 1776. This was a very big point in U.S. history because the Decleration sparked the Revolutionary War.
