  • Drafting (Research)

    Drafting (Research)
    Writing your first draft. Conferences with peers and teacher. Ask the following questions: Are my thoughts organized? Which ideas do I want to develop? How should I order my writing?
  • Revise and Edit

    Revise and Edit
    Read your paper and ask yourself does this sound right? Is my writing clear? Should I keep everything I have written or add more detail? Should I take out anything? What suggestions have my peers and teacher made?
  • Rewrite/Final Draft Due

    Rewrite/Final Draft Due
    Rewrite your paper including the changes you made in the revision and editing phase. Keep in mind you may still find that there are changes you want to make during this phase. This will be your final draft.
  • Publish

    Publish
    There are several ways to publish your work. It could be sharing your work through a letter to the editor, your refrigerator, contests on-line, homeschooingteen.com, bulletin board, publishing a book on kdp.amazon.com, or many other web-sites that accept student writing. Presentation for Class
