    Our town Kozani is a big town with 42,000 residents. If Kozani follows Tilos' example , it can intergrate about 2100 refugees, the 5% of the population.

    Our town has plenty abandoned builts that can be renovated and be apartments or purpose-built camps for the refugees. Also, there is a lot of space that can be used as protected area for refugee camps.

First of all, ur area has a lot of farms and feilds that every refugee can work as manpower guided by someone that knows how to do the job. Also, they can find a job that needs the knowledge from something they studied in their home country.

    Our school can help them by providing refugee children with greek lessons so they can learn fast the language. Another way is the donation of clothes, toys, food etc. Also we can organize fundaisers to accord them material goods.

    All these new temporary residentscan help a lot our society. The potential benefits for our local community could be the increased number of workers in our area, the allowances from the NGOs that can improve the economy etc.
