Number of refugees that can be integrated
Considering that Tilos was able to integrate 12 families of refugees, here in Kozani, we will obviously be able to integrate more.
With Tilos' poupulation being barely 500 people, and Kozani's being up so 40.000, an estimated number of 960 families will probably be integrated in Kozani succesfully. -
How can school help kid-refugees
Should the kid-refugees go to the same school the citizens go, and how would it help them?
Students from our town, must help the refugees join the school "spirit", so they will be able to make new friends, get used with our language and be incorporated to our school like all the others -
How can refugees develop the entrepreneurship
Their efforts can help create jobs, raise the productivity and wages of local workers, lift capital returns, stimulate international trade and investment, and boost innovation, enterprise and growth.
Some refugees do dirty, difficult, dangerous and dull jobs that locals reject, such as cleaning offices and caring for the elderly. Their different and complementary skills can fill gaps in the labour market and enhance locals’ productivity. -
How refugees can benefit our local community
EU give subsidies to hotels and non-profit organizations and new jobs are created in detention centers. Refugees can contribute economically to the societies that welcome them in many ways: as workers, innovators, entrepreneurs, taxpayers, consumers and investors.
