    Authors Tea
In first grade I wrote a story about a dog that I really wanted. For authors tea we were to write a story and have illustrations to go with it. Once we all finished our families were invited to come to the authors tea and read the stories that the class had written. This was significant in my life because It was the first time I wrote a story on my own.

    Shakespeare week
This week was both a positive and a negative literary moment for me. All week we read different Shakespeare plays which I was excited about because I really liked his work. At the same time we were practicing scenes from Romeo and Juliet that we were going to show to 3 English classes. I did not enjoy this because I don't like talking in front of an audience.

  • Speech class

    Speech class
This was a significant time in my life because it was the class that I disliked the most. In this class I had to present 4 different topics of my choice. While I liked making the powerpoint's and doing the research the presenting part was my least favorite.
  • Children's Literature

    Children's Literature
For my Children's Literature we were assigned four books that weed had to read and then do a powerpoint for each book. I really liked these projects because I read books that I had never read before and thought they were very interesting.
