Light and Shade, converations with Jimmy Page by Brad Tolinski
One of my all time musical heroes, this book is great to get an insight into the man himself. Although I knew a lot about the band Led Zeppelin before I wasn't aware of how much drive and passion Jummy Page had for the technical side of music. If you are a music geek like me or a fan of the band you will love this book. -
Ravens Gate By Anthony Horowitz
This is the first of the Power of 5 books.I hadn't read any of this author's books before but they are really well written and keep me wanting more. I would recommend this to readers who liked the Percy Jackson or Artemis Fowl books. 4 out of 5 -
Evil Star by Anthony Horowitz
Book 2 of the Power of 5 series carries on the gripping story telling of the first. In this one we meet the second of the 5 who joins Matt on his adventures. This series would suit more mature readers probably 11 and above. 4 out of 5. -
Night Rise By Anthony Horowitz
The third book in the Power of Five series, this one revolves around twins Jamie and Scott Tyler. These 2 are 2 more of the Five and through the story we see how they learn this and we find out more about the history of the Gatekeepers. Another great book in the series 4 out of 5 -
Necropolis By Anthony Horowitz.
The fourth book of the series and we finally meet thr final member of the five. Scarlett Adams is the female member of the five and is unknown to teh Old ones. Once she is found htough the adventure begins and an action filled adventure through Hong Kong begins. $ out of 5. -
Oblivion
The Final book in the Power of Five series, a great way to finish the series, although I felt the build up was long and the end was over too quickly. Lots of surprises and interesting events to keep you hooked. 4/5
