  • My Introduction to Books

    My Introduction to Books
When I was a baby, my mom would read books to me every night before bed. This book was always my favorite.
  • Peter Pan and Tinkerbell

    Peter Pan and Tinkerbell
Tinkerbell has always been my favorite "princess" and 2000 was when my mom introduced her into my life. As soon as I was able to talk and give my opinions of our nightly books, this one became very common.
  • A Book About Feelings

    A Book About Feelings
In first grade, my teacher let us all bring our favorite books to class to share with everyone. That summer, my mom and I spent all our time at the bookstore trying to find the perfect book. "The Way I Feel" was what we ended up bringing in and to this day, I still have a copy for my future classroom/children of my own.
  • Pixie Hollow Cronicles

    Pixie Hollow Cronicles
The first chapter books I ever read and got seriously into were the ones about Tinkerbell and all her friends at Pixie Hollow. Each fairy had their own book highlighting them and their talent.
  • Dr. Seuss

    Dr. Seuss
I honestly love almost every Dr. Seuss books I have read, and I have read a lot. These books are classics. They are easy readers but also a great challenge and entertaining to read. These books are what taught me to love reading.
  • Sarah Dessen

    Sarah Dessen
One of my favorite authors! Sarah Dessen has a way of making everyone who reads her books feel as though they are the characters and that they are experiencing everything that they are going through. "Just Listen" is a personal favorite, but all of her books are mesmerizing.
  • If You Feel Too Much

    If You Feel Too Much
I have reread this book countless times since I got my first copy. It is a book about mental health and how it is okay to not be okay sometimes. "If you sometimes feel too much, this book is for you"
  • Love Stories

    Love Stories
This cheesy love story is one of my absolute favorites that I read every time I am about to take a big trip or find myself at an airport. I recommend it to everyone I talk to!
  • Poetry!

    Poetry!
I am currently obsessed with all forms of poetry. I think it is one of the best forms of expression and is absolutely beautiful. This book honestly helped me through a tough time and I am always looking for books just like it. Books that can take you to a whole other place while reading it and sometimes even bring you to tears are the best kinds of books.
  • Giving Books

    Giving Books
I am getting married next year and I decided to give my cousin a book, describing what a ring bearer is and what he does, as my way of asking him to be in my wedding!
