Wow!
What a awesome book.
There is about 370 pages and I finished it in 2 weeks.
Its sad but full of action. You should try to read it.
I watch the movie too and I liked the book more.

This book is a heart breaking but a awesome book about cuckoos (birds). This boy really loves birds and wants to look after them but some things get in his way. At the moment I would give it a 9 out of 10. The author is Des Hunt.

He found a bird that needed help so he helped it and looked after it. 2 weeks later it was winter and the bird had to fly to another island. So he let it free but put a tag around the birds leg saying his phone number. A day or two later a girl rang him and it was a girl that had found the bird. Now he is going to vist that girl on the island that she lives on.
