The Resolution
Dr. hutchings Jr. returns to the small town of Grand Tower to visit his "Aunt" Delphine because she is ill. Once they leave Dr. Hutchings Jr. tells his son Howard that he is acually Delphine and Noah's son, making him black. Howard says that he is proud of anything that makes him related to his father and the book ends. -
