1920s Rap was made
In the early 1970s a musical genre was born in the crime-ridden neighborhoods of the South Bronx. Gifted teenagers with plenty of imagination but little cash began to forge a new style from spare parts. Hip-hop, as it was then known, was a product of pure streetwise ingenuity; extracting rhythms and melodies from existing records and mixing them up with searing poetry chronicling life in the 'hood, hip-hop spilled out of the ghetto. -
1970-1980 Rap became popular
Rapping first gained popularity in the U.S. in the 1970s as a kind of street art, especially among African American teenagers. But it wasn’t until 1979, when the Sugarhill Gang released their breakaway hit, ‘Rapper’s Delight, that record producers took notice of this emerging musical genre. o nce they did, numerous rap acts, including Run-DMC and N.W.A., surfaced, and rap’s audience began to swell. 1990 Famous singers became popular from rap
By the 1990s, rap matured from an old-school-style – which was based o n relatively simple lyrics – to a new-school-style, which was louder and included more complex lyrics. Artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg and Tupac ruled the charts during this time, as did Eminem – o ne of the most popular white rappers of all time. -

Rap today is very popular many artist sing rap including Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Drake, etc. It has spread all over america and is usually sung about love, pain, and suffer. -

Here is what we think rap will be like in 2049, one year before 2050. We think rap will be popular in 2049, without the country singers and when I said country singers you'll find out what I mean't in the next side. So we think it will be popular and then grow and get a tone of hits. -
