    At the beginning of the battle, Austria was busy fighting against France in the west. With the French military assistance, the Rakoczi rebel army took advantage and in 1707 the Hungarian throne of the Habsburg emperor was abolished in the name of Congress.

    But after the defeat of France, the Austrian army returned to suppress the rebellion and hit the Rakocsi army in 1708 and 1710.The rebellion ended in 1711, and Rakoczi fled to Poland, Lithuania, and France, and eventually died in 1735.
