Initiative vs. Guilt (preschool, ages 3-6)
once parents let there kids have more freedom when they get older; into school around 3-6 they start to develop initiative. If the kids initiative gets them doing something that gets them in trouble then there parents make them feel guilt when they get in trouble. -
Intimacy vs. Isolation (ages 19 - 40)
In this stage of Erikson's theory intimacy is important part in this era of life. The main task is to develop stable relationships. The isolation stage is represented from the part where before stages if you did not develop identity crisis yet then you may feel lonely and isolated because it will be hard to have intimacy with other. -
Integrity vs. Despair (65 - older)
once a person has lived their life full of the experiences that they have made, they could either have despair or integrity. now that they cannot do much more in there life they only look back at what they did and if it makes them satisfied and have integrity because what they did during there life makes them happy. or despair if they are not satisfied or have regrets
