This proves that the sex industry is strong enough to prevail through even the toughest of stigmas and if it could survive illegally when feared, then maybe a different approach is needed and leagalization may be the solution. -

New Zealand becomes the first country to fully decriminalize prostitution with no limitations other than you must be a citizen (Armstrong). The country was progressive and did this to protect sex workers.
